Tim McGraw Plays on the Farm - Donna Loesch (CountryFanNetwork.com) | Wednesday, September 09, 2009
Meadowbrook U.S. Cellular Pavilion is the most relaxed venue that I have ever been to! The atmosphere if full of fun, warmth and happiness. It’s kind of like hanging out in your backyard with family and friends, with the music blasting having great time. That is the feeling you get here. It’s no wonder why Meadowbrook is nominated for a Academy of Country Music award for “Venue of The Year“. I must say they deserve it hands down. For a small site, they do everything big. The sound is incredible. The personalities are huge and Meadowbrook’s heart is even bigger. My advice to all of you after you read this: If you live in New Hampshire or the surrounding states, take the time to travel to Gilford, New Hampshire and catch a show at Meadowbrook. You will be glad you did! You will certainly have fun...
Tim McGraw - Lisa Palmer | Sunday, September 06, 2009 7:20 PM
We had the best time at the Tim McGraw concert lastnight.
What a gem Meadowbrook is! We will be back next summer for sure.
Can't wait to see who will be on the concert schedule.
Thanks for a great place, and a fabulous time!
Thank You - Jonathan Scott | Tuesday, September 01, 2009 9:48 AM
We just wanted to drop you a line to thank you so much for giving our band, "Jonathan Scott and the Blazing Hearts", the opportunity to perform on the Second Stage before and after the "Big and Rich" show on Sunday.
Your entire staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the food was excellent. Both sound engineers, Gary and Bob, did a plus plus job on sound and making us feel welcome. We had a terrific time, and met alot of new friends.
Meadowbrook is "the best" concert venue and that is not only our opinion, but that of all the people we know who attend your variety of top notch concerts. There is something for everyone there.
Again thank you,
Jonathan Scott and the Band

Best Venue in New England - Natalie Langlois | Wednesday, August 26, 2009 3:48 PM
Thank you, first of all, for not selling out to LiveNation. They are wolves in sheeps' clothing and care nothing about fans' experiences. You offer one of the best concert experiences in New England. Friendly staff, reasonable prices, and accessible property all combine to make meadowbrook a no-brainer destination for concerts. We come up from CT, even tho we can see the same bands down here...the reason is the personal service and at-home feel of your place. Congrats, and thank you again. We'll see you next year! keep up the good work.
Thank You Lyndsey - Robert Fleig | Wednesday, August 26, 2009 2:12 PM
On behalf of The Risen, I wanted to thank Meadowbrook for having us on the second stage this past Saturday evening. Special thanks go to Lyndsey Cochrane for all her assistance and for her kindness (she got a jump for me when my car battery died!!). She was very professional and wonderful to work with. Also thanks to Bob the sound guy - he was fabulous to work with and everyone said the sound quality was extraordinary. We had a great show, the crowd was really into it and we wanted to express our appreciation for another opportunity to perform at Meadowbrook. Thanks!!!!!!!
Moody Blues - Jeannie Langdon | Wednesday, August 26, 2009 12:56 PM
Just wanted to take a minute to say "thank you".
Meadowbrook is a beautiful venue! We really enjoyed the show and hope to visit again in years to come! You truly cater to your customers by providing a band before and after the "main attraction" and offering ticket upgrades and prizes. You go "above and beyond" for the people that visit you for a show and that is awesome!
Stay well!

Meadowbrook Is The Best - Joe Zalgenas | Wednesday, August 26, 2009 10:57 AM
We have been coming to various shows at Meadowbrook for years and I wanted to take the time to say Meadowbrook is an oustanding concert facility! Nothing in NH compares to it. Keep those great acts coming. Looking forward to our next return to Meadowbrook. Thanks!
Judas Priest - Cassandra Workman | Tuesday, August 25, 2009 9:34 PM
The Metal Gods proved once again they stand in a class all by themselves!! First time at this venue, drove all the way from Westerly, RI...loved everything about it!! Not a bad seat in the house! We look forward to our next trip there!!
Thank You - Debbie Roper | Tuesday, August 25, 2009 9:01 PM
I wanted to write and thank all the employees at Meadowbrook. We recently attended the Leonard Skynard/Joan Jett concert and The Moody Blues. Our weekend began when we realized that our handicap sticker had been left at home, and with my friend in a wheel chair, we thought this would be a problem. The parking staff was so sympathetic and allowed us to park closer to the gate for easier access.
All the employees that we spoke to were very friendly and informative. You have an exception staff at Meadowbrook and I was also impressed with the very nice lady in the restrooms that was cleaning the bathrooms right after a patron exited. We hope to be at the Alan Jackson concert next month…….hopefully I can pull the money together, if not, then we will definitely be back next summer to enjoy your venue.
Once again, thank you so much for an enjoyable weekend.
Thankyou - Lisa Chappel | Monday, August 24, 2009 7:10 PM

We look forward to coming back soon.
Thanks again!

Moody Blues - Susan Stein | Monday, August 24, 2009 2:37 PM
My husband and I attended the Moody Blues concert on August 22, 2009. We had the most amazing time. This was our 13th year seeing the group in concert. The Moody Blues hold a special place in our hearts. It is because of them, that my husband and I got together 13 years ago.
"I Know You're Out There Somewhere" is our wedding song, and he always sings "For My Lady" to me whenever the band plays it. Unfortunately, they did not play it this time, but that is okay. We still had the best time of our lives.
We originally purchased lawn seats. When we arrived at Meadowbrook, we entered a couple of raffles, but since we usually do not win, so, we sure did not expect to win anything that night. Imagine our surprise, when I heard my name called for the front row upgrade and VIP bar tickets. My husband said that I jumped six feet in the air. We looked at each other in pure amazement, and then I think I screamed, and my husband laughed. We both said, “Are you kidding?” We grabbed our lawn chairs and headed down to the front row.
I wanted to write and say thank you, because this was an once-in-a-lifetime event for us, and we are so grateful that we had this wonderful opportunity. Thank you Meadowbrook!!!!!
Joan Jett - Brenda Tobine | Monday, August 24, 2009 1:34 PM
Been to 3 shows in the past 3 weeks and by far Joan Jett was the BEST!!! You should have her back to headline. She totally rocks and I am amazed and in aawwww of her. Hope you have her back again next year!!
Re: Thank You for Attending Judas Priest - Marybeth Maloney | Monday, August 24, 2009 11:23 AM
Meadowbrook is a real nice place to see a show. The sound system is real high quality. Visibility is great from the lawn seating. And, I am amazed at how easy it is to exit the parking lot when leaving.
Thanks, Marybeth
Re: Thank You For Attending The Moody Blues - Michael Gaydo | Sunday, August 23, 2009 2:47 PM
Will not be attending any more concerts, but the four I saw were simply tremendous.
Thanks for your kind and caring help getting me to the pavillion on the golf cart. It's nice to know that such a large enterprize still takes care of the "small" people.
Thanks for a great summer.
See you next year.
Mike Gaydo
Moody Blues - Judie | Sunday, August 23, 2009 1:07 PM
My first time at Meadowbrook was last nite's Moody Blues concert, and I want to tell ya, I was blown away by them. Justin Hayward still sounded terrific!!! The Moody Blues were bringing the house down. Not bad for a bunch of over the hill guy's HUH?? They were just great.
I live in Portland, Maine, and we don't have anything even close to Meadowbrook. What a beautiful, clean, well organized, and not a bad view anywhere that place is. I was shocked at the place. We sat in row 37, and we had a great view!!!! People were great, everything was so exciteing.I'll be going to Meadowbrook from now on. If Main can't or won't build us a place like Meadowbrook, then thats their lost, and boy do I mean lost....
Thank you Meadowbrook, for a nite I'll never forget....
Moody Blues, 8/22/09 - Jim and Lois Charles | Sunday, August 23, 2009 1:00 PM
A great concert. Very well produced and of course the music was excellent. A muggy evening and threatening rain could do nothing to spoil the night. We would like to thank everyone for all the help they provided us. Through health reasons we had to be a little more "needy" than we were expecting to be. Bill and his troops rose well above the situation, and solved all problems where we neded their help. Unfortunately I didn't get names, apart from Bill and one of the cart drivers, Jack, but please be aware we appreciated every one of the staff we came in contact with. From the first young man we encountered at the entrance, the ladies who directed us to our parking spot, and the security team, and the young lady who helped us to our seats, the chief usher, ALL the staff were a credit to the venue. I hope the CMA recognises the venue as a top place to be.
The show was all we wanted, great music, from a great band. Not too noisy, and the screens in the pavilion really are a help. As said, there are NO bad seats, just some a bit better than others. We certainly have no complaints.
So all in all, after our first visit to Meadowbrook, we have no hesitation in saying we will be back. We will pass on only good things about the place, and the team, with no reservation, as we found only a truly professional, friendly, and courteous staff, Box Office to Parking lot, absolutely a great team.
Thanks Bill, for everything, even while we were causing problems, Meadowbrook came through for us. Great Job...Rock On
Joan Jett/Skynyrd show - Lisa Hartwell | Saturday, August 22, 2009 5:23 AM
Last night was i believe the 4th or 5th time i've seen Lynyrd Skynyrd @ Meadowbrook and they kicked butt as usual. Joan Jett was awesome as well. If she could be the main act at the Brook some day, she'd rock the roof off. Living only 15mins up the road has made concerts at the brook a music lovers dream. Keep up the good work.
Doobie Brothers/Steve Miller Band - Jim from Beverly | Monday, August 17, 2009 1:42 PM
First time at Meadowbrook. Will not be my last. I've been to Comcast Center and B of A Pavillion in Mass. Meadowbrook is top notch - what a nice place to watch a concert!! Speaking of the concert, the Doobie Bros. were unbelieveable and rocked the house!! I smiled and sang and clapped through the entire show. Great energy, still solid musical skills and ever excellent harmonies. Steve Miller was entertaining too. However, if the Doobies came to Meadowbrook every year, I'd be there!! Great group and fantastic venue!
Elisabeth Bryan - Sugarland Concert - Thank You | Monday, August 17, 2009 9:30 AM
My family and I attended the Sugarland concert last Friday night. Unfortunately, I had surgery on my foot and have been having a tough time healing and getting off crutches. I looked forward to the concert for a year but was really apprehensive about attending since I have difficulty moving around. From the minute we pulled into the parking lot the staff could not have been any nicer. One of the attendants (I wish I got her name) escorted us to the handicapped parking, another attendant got us a golf cart and within minutes I was settled and ready to enjoy the show. When it came time to hobble to the bathroom another attendant held a flashlight so I didn't fall. Every staff member I encountered went out of their way to offer help, and always with a smile.
Thank you soooo much for making the concert so enjoyable and relaxing for me. It was my first big venture out of the house since surgery and the staff at Meadowbrook made it wonderful. I have shared with everyone I talk to how great you all are and how hard you all work to make the Meadowbrook experience so memorable. Please pass on to the staff how appreciative I am. I look forward to visiting your venue again and will continue to pass on to others how impressed I am with Meadowbrook and the fantastic staff.
Sincerely,
Elisabeth G. Bryan

3 Doors Down Concert - Jeffrey & Judi Little | Friday, August 14, 2009 7:45 PM
Thank you for the great show! We discovered new bands that we really enjoyed(five hours!). We were very impressed with the friendly staff at meadowbrook. The grounds are beautiful and the bathrooms clean. This was the second show we have seen at meadowbrook and it is by far the least stressful venue we've been to. See you in 2010!
Tom Jones - Denise Ghuste | Monday, July 20, 2009 10:10 AM
It was the best concert I have ever seen. What a performance. It was like he was 30 years old. What a time I had.
Denise Ghuste
Thank You - Eileen | Monday, July 20, 2009 4:48 PM
My sister & I attended the Tom Jones concert last night. She is recovering from knee replacement surgery and was on crutches. Your staff was so courteous and helpful and made it easy for her to get to the venue and then back to the car on one of the golfcarts. The concert itself was awesome, Tom Jones was fabulous and the entire experience rocked!
The Offspring - Dan Beckemeyer | Sunday, July 12, 2009 1:39 AM

Concerts at Meadowbrook - Sandi | Tuesday, July 07, 2009 11:42 AM
Hi Bill:
I wanted to take this opportunity to let you know that I think Meadowbrook is by far the best venue in New England. I've been to many concerts at various locations throughout New Hampshire and Massachusetts and none of them come close in overall satisfaction.
Everything from the ticket purchase process to the overall "concert" experience has been wonderful. From the parking lot staff to the staff inside everyone is friendly and courteous and actually seem to enjoy their jobs. They treat everyone with respect and in turn you have a happy and content audience.
I know people are quick to point out when they have an unpleasant experience so I wanted to congratulate you and your staff on a wonderful venue and concert experience(s).
Keep up the great work.
Sandi
Diana Krall Show - KEN & DEBBIE CLARK | Saturday, July 04, 2009 7:30 AM
We have been to Meadowbrook to see a variety of shows from the Pops and Tenors to Wynona, Steve Miller and Huey Lewis. I always like the venue but I have never had an experience like last night with Diana. The sound and lighting were unbelievable!
Thanks so much for bringing Diana to NH and for making it such an amazing show.
Diana Krall Show on July 3rd - Mary & Joe Hanley | Thursday, July 16, 2009 3:03 PM
This was our first trip to Meadowbrook from Massachusetts and it was great. The venue is so comfortable, clean and everyone that works there was very accomodating.
Diana Krall was just awesome and the "peepers" and "lighting bugs" added a true New England flavor to the show. We could hear every note played and every word of her beautiful voice, the mix was top-notch.
Cannot wait to return soon!
Best outdoor venue in New England - MERLE MORSE JR | Tuesday, June 23, 2009 8:22 PM
Hello Meadowbrook Friends,
I say friends for a couple of reasons.1-The meadowbrook experience leaves you with the feeling you are a part of the family, from the parking lot to the stage and back you are treated with warm friendly hospitality and respect you don't get in most venues elsewhere. You are treated like friends and will always want to come back.2-This year marks my 35-37th shows in this premier facility,so therefore I think I feel you are friends.I started with my first show here July,7th 2000 with Poison & Cinderella.Back then your venue was just a crushed stone flooring with a makeshift wooden stage,my wife and I are amazed at how beautiful this venue has become more and more with each passing show.It is definately in our humble opinions the best outdoor venue in New England to take in a show.Believe me I know I have been all over and my friends call me the Music Guru because of my obsession and love for music. We have brought and turned on many friends and family members to your venue over the years and have never had anyone walk away dissapointed. This weekend with Styx and REO will mark the second time we have seen these guys together here and the 4th time for Styx alone. We are bringing 8 people to this show,3 in which are new comers and I know they will love and enjoy this beautiful place as much as we do.Thank you for being so courteous & kind to us for all these years.Your establishment has made shows a first class experience and I will continue to go to many more shows here because of this.
Sincerely your friend,Merle
Positive Experience - KAREN WOODARD | Monday, June 22, 2009 1:18 PM
I was at the Candlebox/Live concert Friday, June 19th and when I went to the ladies room, I was so pleasantly surprised. Who had the idea to bring in roses and have a fan blowing the fragrant air around? And that attendant....cleaning after each person used the facilities was a nice feeling. I have done nothing but tell everyone how impressed I was! The concert was incredible, the food was resonably priced & tasty and to top it off, the ladies room was actually clean. I would highly recommend people go to Meadowbrook (though I did think they parked the cars too tightly between rows...had a very hard time getting out).
Thanks again for an overall positive experience!
Blake Shelton / Craig Morgan Show - Mary Brown and Family | Sunday, June 21, 2009 12:59 PM
My husband and I, along with our five children, drove 7 1/2 hours from New Brunswick, Canada to attend the Blake Shelton/Craig Morgan show at your venue on June 18th. This was our first time at Meadowbrook and I just wanted to let you know that we were very impressed. Your venue is by far the best outdoor concert venue we've been to. It is clean, nicely laid out with beautiful flower gardens, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I just wish we lived closer, as we are huge country music fans, and we would love to attend more of your upcoming shows. Craig and Blake both delivered amazing performances, and we want to THANK YOU for bringing them to your venue. We have been members of Blake's Fan Club for 7 years and he hadn't come close enough for us to go see him for four years, so we were thrilled when we found out he was coming to New Hampshire. Please bring him back again. He is one of the most talented singers that country music has to offer and our favorite. We would definitely make the trip to Meadowbrook again to see Blake.
Live 6/19/09 - Kevin Sheedy | Saturday, June 20, 2009 7:32 AM
Wow - what a venue, what a show. I live right here in NH and last night was my first trip to Meadowbrook. What an awesome experience from the arrival, walk in, services provided, fantastic seating, acoustics, traffic out. I was home in 45 minutes, and I live 45 minutes away - no traffic at all!
Your staff did a great job, security was excellent - no egos doing their job and of course, the bands were fantastic. Thanks for offering such a great experience right here in NH!!!!
